Alltbreac Broch (Allt Breac, Altbreck)

Not much left of this broch and most of what is left is buried beneath its own rubble. However, there are one or two features visible, including a low stretch of original wall. Checking google earth, you can easily see the remains of what must have been huge surrounding defensive earthworks, so being up on the hill I guess this must have been a military fort.

There is parking (marked on the map), and there is a good path through the woods which takes you right to the broch.
