Lower Dunn broch (Old Hall of Dunn 2)

A large grassy mound is all that's left. I'm sure the broch is still in there somewhere.

Access is not straight forward and is the same as for the Lower Dunn North broch which you have to walk past to get there. There is no parking anywhere close to hand on the narrow main road and no access through dense hedges so drive down the narrow road to Lower Dunn farm and park beside the sheds as shown below. The farmer allowed me access through his farm buildings and over a couple of gates to access the Lower Dunn North broch. This is a working farm and there were sheep in the field, so no dogs and be respectful of private property.To reach the Lower Dunn broch climb the gates in the corner of the field as shown below and return the same way. Be careful with the barbed wire fence.
